BBS code - Engine Light - Gear Indicator Frozen

BBS Error code - Engine Light - Gear Indicator Frozen -- this occurred during a rain ride, eventually cleared itself (happened to be dry when it cleared)

the display indicated 4th gear at all times, but gearbox worked ok - after things dried up, gear indicator went back to functioning properly


any input is appreciated....

My bike just start doing the same thing reading can line, bbs, and dash flashing crazy and wouldn't start. Did some looking on here and some say moisture in the bbs wire connector or due to extreme heat. Whatever the case take it back to the dealer and hope it under your warranty. Taking mine back tomorrow only had my bike 9 months with 3500 miles. It sucks to be stranded when your bike wont start, waited awhile and it started so I made it home

We had a customer stopping by just to show us her new 2014 1199 and on her way over to the shop (future RB+ full akra coming soon) her BBS light came on and the bike is only a few months old and never been touched and our friendly local best around here Melillimoto Ducati/Mv took care of it for her....
