Best rearsets for the Panigale V4

Thanks DucatiKev Those were the ones that I were thinking about ....do they lower the pegs more than stock and also are the pegs longer?
 
Normally I would always recommend CNC Racing, then Lightech. But in this case I think I would recommend the new Gilles Tooling design. They actually have the most adjustments to them and go as low as 1.4 inches. And the best part about them is you dont have to unscrew anything to adjust them. This is the newest design to any rear sets on the market. You just push and rotate to where you want them to be. Here is a link to the gilles tooling site. I'm running Bonamici, the race pegs you can get for them for them are ridiculously good. Though they are so sharp and grippy they may damage to soles of my boots in time though hahaha.

Something to be aware of... I like mine in the highest and most rearward position possible. Even in this configuration, I can't get the gear shifter low enough without hitting the kick stand.

I have no idea how anyone with the pegs any lower get on. This is not only an issue with Bonamici, it affects most other rearset brands too.

If I read the Gilles info correctly they do not go any lower than the factory position. Most of the adjustability with respect to factory peg position is up and back.

Attack are one of the few rearsets I have seen that allow adjustability down from the factory position for touring comfort and up from the factory position for track use.

Attack allow +12mm (up) and -24mm (down) but if you reverse the mounting brackets swap the left one for the right one, you get an additional 28mm up.

I have the Gilles and have no issue riding in higher position than stock. I don't know why I'd want to have it lower than stock, but to each their own. If I wanted to ride comfort, I'd just jump onto the GS.
 
Arcticwhite I stand corrected. You are right. I looked at the diagram very quickly and looked at the numbers more than I did at the diagram
 
Yes the Attack rearsets get your lower than stock. I like to set my legs so they are under my hips, not back and up, and the Attacks do that. Amazing build quality and their mount makes the rear set easier to get off.
 
Also be aware that a lot of rearset won't fit the R model. Because of the swingarm pivot adjustment.
 
I have the CNC Racing rearsets. Super smooth operation and good adjustability. I would hesitate from placing the pegs too low as I am 6'2 and my size 12 boot scrapes on hard turns.

Im 6'4 and I got the GiaMoto rearsets they are excellent. Help me feel not so cramped in the saddle.
 
I got the STM rearsets as a package deal with my FM project exhaust straight from FM. I wouldn't buy them retail, they are expensive, but I got the rearsets and the exhaust for less than 5 grand. They're sturdy and very adjustable. Just not designed for everyday riding, as the aluminum is subject to some corrosion from the elements. Going to clean them up real nice as she transitions into a pure racebike.
 
Anyone had experience with the OEM/rizoma rearset? Installation? Or shifting issues?

This message was from Gilles Tooling about there rearsets using on the V4R. Does anyone know what part he is talking about?

"The rearset fits only for the V4R if a special screw kit is bought directly at the Ducati spare parts catalogue. This is a kit to be used with any aftermarket rearset on the V4R, so it is a regular kit within the official Ducati spare parts range."
