Bling: Rear Brake Carrier

Today a friend brought me some new 3D CNC milled rear brake caliper carriers with hollow Titanium driving pins. I'll keep you posted about fitment and look as soon as I've got them installed.

Weight is the same as the OEM, but more stable. Pins are almost weightless :)

Bummer. Have a few of the Brembo P4-24 calipers that would be nice to use. I think Desmo is making some of these in 64mm, first of the year. You can barely see the bracket anyhow so a more "aesthetic" bracket with OEM geometry for 300 EUR is a bit puzzling. You could just Dremel the casting lines off and polish the OEM. As far as rigidity is concerned, it would be a stretch to argue a performance gain. Now a 64mm makes practical sense as the Brembo Race and Nissin Race rears are quite nice. Thanks for the reply.

Did Desmo ever make 64mm carriers for the V4? There’s a P4-24 I would love to try as well.
