Brand new panigale v4 burst in flames

So someone is filling up a petrol station and while fuel is being put in the bike it bursts into flame and that’s proof of the bike having a problem? Zero chance that fuel was being splashed around, aside from vapours… Hard to tell but it looked like he started the bike while it was being filled?

I love that this line is a different size on each end. Otherwise you could just use fuel line from any auto parts. Is the issue that the removed end degrades and starts to leak? I've had my tank off several times by removing the line off the quick disconnect T. No leaks. But then I'm using a screw clamp instead of an Oetiker clamp. Only Ducati could manage a one-use fuel line.
Thank goodness for Ducati’s ironically named ‘quick’ connectors. 🤣

For the past number of years, my experiences with Ducati handling customers’ challenges have been really on point and efficient. I’m surprised to hear you’re not experiencing the same.

It's apparent when watching the long video it was gasoline vapor which was ignited. The flames seems to propagate across the ground and stays on the left side of the bike. What's less obvious is what was the source of the ignition.

When hot, the gas will boil in the tank and the vapor will collect on the ground when the bike is stationary.
