Brembo brake master cylinder options

Looks like maybe a bit of confusion. If you are going to delete the ABS pump then you are going to have to install new or modified lines as the absence of the pump and associated plumbing is part of the potential solution (I say potential as there are plenty of non ABS systems on bikes that suffer similar symptoms from a multitude of reasons) Easiest solution is to have a new front and rear line assembly built to spec for a non ABS solution and leave the ABS pump in place sans the plumbing. The second solution is to get the Bike Sport Development delete box and remove the pump. This is of course predicated on BSD having a unit for your particular application. Third solution is to make your own delete box. I would hit Mick1976 for this as he probably documented his mod and I did not.
No matter what solution you chose you will have to make new lines. If there is an alternative delete option that I did not list, my apologies.

Thanks! Sheesh, this is adding up. Looks like they have a delete box for 300 but like you said, also need brake lines.

17RCS vs 19RCS
So the mechanic at my shop mentioned his brembo guy said either application would work with the 899 calipers. Now I'm a bit stumped on what to choose.

Sorry dudes, missed the link posted earlier. Think the 17 sounds safer to get a better breaking feel.

Is that it regarding you abs delete?

I've been contemplating deleting the ABS as I've been blaming the sponginess at the lever to the ABS system.
Does the pump hold a considerable amount of fluid? Also how does the pump actually work ?

Is this why i think my 1299 stops .... compared to a new s1000rr?

Just got my recall done. And im still not overly impressed by the stopping power of this bike.

Don't fully remove the abs module as it will throw a fault,

BSD do a delete kit if you really want to.

The lines are very easy to run,

you can either run one to each calliper with a double banjo from the MC

Or get a t line made up

I have some sstk lines in stock with brembo RCS levers i can supply as kits to solve this problem

Cheers Ben

Just had my lines routed directly to the callipers. I had good lever with abs but changed my master cylinder and got air into the system and could not get my lever back to how it was. Most guys I know are not running abs on the track .... any brand
