Great job Gunny! I learned a great deal from the piece. God bless and thank you for your service my friend.

Gunny, here's wishing you and family, and that of course includes Russell, all the best going forward. Regards, Dave

i wonder why there was no mention of the ambassador of the racing heritage of the faux-cati

;)

:D

Well ...., isn't that just the ..... I really hadn't decided whether I really liked Gunny or not and now I find out he has a dog that is his buddy. Now I have to like him as my wive and I are huge dog lovers (mine is right next to me as I type this).

All in fun Gunny, but it does make me like you that much more. Great article. BTW, thanks for your service and my sincere condolences for the injuries that you suffered.

What a great story Gunny. Way to pull through man! I've never served but I have friends who have and still do and the stories I hear from them are just wild and extreme. I'm not a religious man but I always pray for a safe return.

Went thru old threads today and wanted to thank all of you once again for your kind words and support. Been having a very rough time lately and I wish I could meet a bunch of you good guys in person to sit and chat with one day.

Anyone wanting to know about the author should PM me since I do think very highly of her and matter of fact agree she is doing a pretty good job reporting for AMA and on her talk radio show. Looking fwd to seeing her again in Jersey too!

MANY THANKS EVERYONE!!

I've been here 25 years but I do not remember specific incidents like that. Not to say it wasn't important but I just don't remember a lot of things that do not have an immediate impact in my day to day.

Great article. Thank you more than anything motorcycle related for protecting this great country. Beer on me when we meet!
