Kaming is a great guy, really down to earth and he is a very good rider. He has 29 bikes in his stable all of them will make you drool. He brings the bike to Pro Italia for display/events. Here is a couple of photos of Rossi's bike. I didnt know that he sold Nickey's bike to a friend

very interesting how you have to start it etc.

LOL @ making an unintelligent and more importantly, uninformed argument and blaming others for the response.

Internet is a funny place.

1st see the smiley face grin there that means i was being sarcastic aka funny with what i wrote. hard to display emotion through typed words. i thought the story was nice i posted it.

2nd the argument i made was an opinion i am entitled to one after all and asked if anyone else noticed it.

3rd ...... notice no smiley face

^ I'm curious as well on the price ^

Cool story and lucky gut to have such a bike but sounds like he worked hard to get where he's at so good for him.

The article says $40,000. That is awesome to own an actual GP bike.

Read about Mr. Ko's bikes through the years and he has my respect for sure.

Great read. Thanks for sharing.

I've been told that the newer ones have gone for as high as 250k. If that's true then 40k is a steal.

Granted ownership is like fight club and you can't ride it without Ducati's permission or talk about it without Ducati's permission etc.

$40K is an awesome price for a actually motoGP bike, lol it's a steal if a new superleggera retails at $65K. My guess would be more than $300K, just a guess

I'd be interested to know if/when he actually gets to ride it.

And what if they deny the application? If he is in possession of the bike and can start it... How can they stop him from riding it once or twice on a track?

Will the Ducati police show up and take it back?

No, they just won't help him fix it anymore. Have you ever seen the maintenance schedule for a race bike?
