You make a great point and I am guilty of participating in the crap. I really like the tech stuff particularly the high end parts/building etc but those posts and guys chatting on that stuff are far and few between so we are relegated to a board that is mostly low tech, general chit chat and the occasional bitch session. I actually wish someone would start a members only section that you actually had to qualify to access. That way the crazy tech, performance and racing groups could interact and the guys that want to talk about blinkers, rim tape and cup holders could do there thing and the guys who wanted to participate in their version of a "housewives" episode could argue all hours of the day. In my own defense, I participate in zero social media, (this is the only chat board I am on) and spend most of my time with medical PhD's, on airplanes and building and riding things. When I reach a state of catatonic dumbfounded stupor, I participate in this ..... Whoopazz, I think has hit the reality check button for me and made me realize that this place could be great but is unfortunately, a source of frustration with little in the way of usable information at least for me. So everyone, its been fun but the more I think about it and the more I look at back at the content that makes up 90% of the posts the more I realize that am contributing to the perpetuation of this .... show and I need to stop.
