Mate I am not a fan really....but the fact first English winner in in 35 years....

He rode well but find him really unlike able .

I think he whines a lot. I met him at COTA though and he was probably the most personable rider in the pits. Got to talk to him for a bit, took some pictures. Overall a cool guy.

Now that Rossi is ahead in the points to Lorenzo... Lorenzo's "mind games" will .... him over for the rest of the season....

Just can't believe with his decision to change bike (Jorge), with his caliber he should have been in top 10 at least when he had same tires as Rossi. i'm afraid his future with Ducati would be doom (time will tell)!

Great to see the win, but I should have turned it off before the interview. Cal is a public relations nightmare, from talking on his cellphone holding up the interview, to calling everyone else a whimp that didn't go with his tyre choice! I would have to say Cal is the complete and definitive ........

He is so grubby like a country bumpkin.... hobo..

If you ever come to England, take a trip to Coventry where he's from. It's a dump. And to think Ze Germans flattened it and we still fcuked up the rebuild from zero.

As for the wimps comment he made, I knew the Internet/haters wouldn't let me down he was clearly joking. It's just people choose to hear and see what they want. He used to torture poor Matt Roberts from the BBC a few years ago. Some how he gave matt his passport back to him on the grid. Matt Didn't even know he'd lost it. Granted he does moan a lot but then so do most riders!

Congrats to him, his gamble paid off. Saw it on tv, didn't read it online or anything when he called everyone wimps. He definitely didn't look or sound like he was joking, even the TV commentators here in Australia were shocked with what he said. Lets just say it didn't make him look good on camera whether or not he's a nice bloke in real life.
In the end, I think his lack of title contention allowed him to take higher risks.

His choice of the hard rain tires won him the race. If it had been a dry race he would have been out of contention like he usually is.
Lorenzo is a total head case unless it's perfect weather. Not looking forward next year to his pouting on a Ducati.
Marquez did a good job preserving his soft tires unlike The Maniac. Dovi runs into bad luck again with early tire disinegration. Overall a fun race to watch.

Lol.... .... of a heading there Ox Man as i didnt watch the race last night, soon as I saw that I knew who won :D

Out of all the poms to win I am glad it was Cal, lets hope it is not another 35 yrs for a pommy to win.....Go Cal !!
