Cal Crutchlow..

Congrats to him, his gamble paid off. Saw it on tv, didn't read it online or anything when he called everyone wimps. He definitely didn't look or sound like he was joking, even the TV commentators here in Australia were shocked with what he said. Lets just say it didn't make him look good on camera whether or not he's a nice bloke in real life.
In the end, I think his lack of title contention allowed him to take higher risks.

I think he had to say something memorable. It will be 35 years before Cal wins another one.

Not taking anything away from his achievement in winning the race, but I do wish for once he could complete an interview without bad mouthing others, his bike, strategy, other teams bla bla bla. Would have been more impressed if he were more humble and less of an arrogant ...., which is unfortunately how he often comes across in the media (whether intentional or not). Had he accepted his first win with good grace and spent less time re-enforcing the fact that it pales into insignificance compared to the birth of his first child (something he spent an age waxing lyrical about in a previous round....yawn) it would have seemed less like a rant and more of a genuinely grateful acknowledgement. Perhaps he should have watched the interview with John McPhee, who just enjoyed the moment for what it was and not use it as a springboard to vent his spleen. Perhaps having finally won a race he'll STFU and stop complaining.

Great to see the win, but I should have turned it off before the interview. Cal is a public relations nightmare, from talking on his cellphone holding up the interview, to calling everyone else a whimp that didn't go with his tyre choice! I would have to say Cal is the complete and definitive ........

holding up the interview the guy just won his first motogp race (first english in 35 yeears) had a kid a couple of weeks ago and his wife for only the second time ever wasnt with him so he called her cut him some slack.

the wimp comment was a joke get over it.

if you never met cal dont judge him

In qualifying when he sat down in his garage, took his gloves off and tossed them at the guy in front of him like he was dirt(whereas the other riders place them on the floor or shelf next to them)...what a .....

have you met Rossi?

have you met Rossi?

see what your trying to do here but yes i have met rossi so now you have nothing else to say.

just so you know he is very good to his fans and very responsive.

also can you identify ever when i said rossi was an ... or anything to that affect no you cant cause i never said that. i say i dont like him i say he has tons of advantages over the field his entire career i say he is not the best ever. i have never ever called him names or said anything about his character.
reason i dont know the man meeting him and knowing them are different stories.

ive met people that are jerks to the public and are real nice guys and the opposite also holds true.

ive met marquez rossi bradly smith zarco alexis espargaro maverick ionne i missed dovi but i heard the guy is the most gracious person with his time a true gentleman.

hayes gerloff baubier scott russel actually friendly with them.

if i forgot anyone im sorry just making a point.

Never met Donald Trump either I find him unlike able . There isn't a person on the planet that only has a opinion on someone based on wether they have met them or not .

I have never met Crutchlow and yet I have already made my opinion on his riding skills even though sometimes the engine may be at fault. Now I've seen his unshaven hobo beard, this makes me more skeptical of his riding skills....Wilkson is correct

Is Moto GP about riding skills ? I think you would need to look in to who has a beard and who does not . There should be a study on this .

You have made a most crucial of points—perhaps there should be a study on this...I will pull up my pants and get to the bottom of this—before someone else does...
