Caliduc's Tricolores - Part 1 (1199S)

Did you leave the suspension stock? What's your impression of the difference in brake/rotor upgrade compared to stock?

The Ohlins suspension is stock as per the S version and it is pretty good. I did however put ride height adjusters on both bikes and crank it back by 20mm (which still keeps the bike within tolerance).

Brake/rotor/levers/cyclinders on the 1098 S Tricolore have been totally replaced and are amazing.

Brembo Rotor on the 1199 S Tricolore are a slight improvement. The brakes on the 1199 are pretty good as is, so I left the Calipers and cylinders as is .. for the moment. Levers are DP.

Thanks but the lumbar carbon is the black triangle on top on the rear cowl next to your butt. Whats the shot of the sprocket for? Anyway I guess my thought was lost in translation. Thanks for the sweet Tri pics!

Ah got you, thought we referring to what I call the under tray.

I left the Passenger Cowl/Lumbar triangle/pad on both bikes exactly stock. I think the alternatives are very tacky/not good.

The shot of the sprocket is a close up I took previously that I meant to post and did not want to post yet another for that :D

Wow you've spent a lot of time and money on those two bikes and it shows!

They both are beautiful.

Gotcha, we're on the same page now.

It would make a sweet wall size poster of both of them together!:)

Cali - Both bikes look amazing. I like you keep all my stock parts. they are my closet. all wrapped up and labeled. nice work. take some pics of that new arai when you get it too.

meh - so so. . .. <kidding> commend you for showing all your stuff. . . I'm not sure I could take the heat :)

Got a very nice collection going there Cali. How about I come on out and ride the one you dont want to ride for a few miles, and then we can swap?

Was just sent one of those garage mats too which is pretty nice to show bikes on.

Yes the mats do look good. They are also a god send for when your working on the bikes and nuts/bolts/screws pop off the bike, the mat will grip them rather than them roll away on the floor.
