Riding 1199 Panigale S, Brembo monoblock brakes
Remote owner here... no easy access to Ducati dealers, so I perform my own maintenance. I only saw one other small thread about this and thought I'd reach out for a bit of clarity. While cleaning my brembo calipers, one of the pistons came out for about 2 seconds before I slid it back in. I lost a little bit of fluid, and the fill reservoir almost overflowed. Now I have ZERO front brakes and I'm nervous that I messed up. Did I doom my brake system enough to take it to Ducati?
My next step will be to use a Mityvac pump to bleed the fluid out of the nipple on that caliper and see what happens. Is this correct, and is there anything I am forgetting?
