Can we run e98 fuel?

Would it require different injectors? Would the motor care for an all ethanol fuel?

I'm sure the motor would love it but if it is anything like cars, injectors and fuel lines as well as fuel pump would need to be upgraded to withstand the fuel and prevention from eating away at the plastics. My last car ran on e85 only but it was also heavily modified with bigger turbo, surge tank and all supporting mods. Car loved it. There are mostly plus sides to running e85 or in your case e98 but i highly doubt the stock fuel lines, pump and injectors can support that fuel. Definitely will need a higher flowing pump and bigger injectors to pump more fuel through the motor in order to make the power you need. Ethanol will use more fuel. Again, if it's anything like cars, you'll definitely have to go this route which will be costly. Will also need to be custom tuned for the fuel. Less resitant to engine knock which can also make it that much more dangerous for a tuner to tune if they dont have the experience to tune ethanol fuel. Again, all this is based on my experience with ethanol in cars only. Not sure if that helps.

Right ..that's my experience too. Was having some wishful thinking that the pump and lines might keep up but could do a slight injector upgrade.

Just out of curiosity, what does e98 cost anyway? Here in los angeles, it's e85 all year so it doesn't drop to e70 in the winter like most cities do but I've also never seen e98 either. E85 is about $2.30/gallon

That's still cheaper than 100 octane or other race fuels. What's the octane rating for e98 if e85 is 105?

It takes roughly twice the amount of ethanol as compared to gasoline for the same engine (less for E85). I would find out how much margin the Panigale has left in the injectors and fuel pump flow at Max HP. You would probably need a injector/pump upgrade anyways regardless of fuel compatibility. You would also have the range of a ~2.5gallon fuel tank.
