Ducati thieves don't care about being seen stealing bikes, this is one of the reasons you can't park your bike in public places for more than 1 minute.

We would always find thugs and admirers sitting on our bikes 3/10 times when ever our bikes are parked in public places for only less than 2 minutes after returning from a toilet or something.

My insurance is extremely high now since i have criminal record for speeding and history of driver's license being cancelled for speeding crime - now it is more so than ever important to protect our bikes with security.

What's the best security (struggling to find insurance company that will endorse me) to get for our bikes?

those both happened in the uk; we'll have a little bit different experience here in the usa. ;)

You guys can carry guns lucky you'll get to put some bullets in their head but in UK and Australia we live in a police nanny state lol the crims and the crooked politicians run the country.

Buy R1...

My woman sat on it - it's too tall for her she had to tip toe (the seat was too wide and too high even though she's 5'8").

We need a bike we both could ride and she only likes the Pani (she wants to keep the S and trade the base) !!! The Pani has thin seat making it really easy for her to flat foot whereas the r1 she was tip toeing !!!

Tried the RSV4 she thinks it looks old like the CBR1000RR :) (correct me if I'm wrong but they are both 2009 shape?).

When I travel I try to park next to Harley's. It's the best gaurantee in the U.S that they won't mess with my bikes. And yes, I see what your other bikes are ;)

Even with the laws that allow us to conceal carry guns in most States and open carry in others, you cannot use weapons to protect property, only yourself or others if being personally threatened with violence.

It's not quite the Wild West that most people, from other countries, imagine it to be.

Well, from the nick of someone I think about men like Harry Callahan. They head face forward into trouble and deal with it, usually in a manner that the trouble cease to exist.

And there are peole who whine into internet about every imaginary problem they can think about. Is there a feature in this forum where you can block some writers invisible?

Stupid me, should stay away, but haven't found any better Panigale forum.

I've had a gsxr 1000 and a honda crf450 stolen with no theft insurance on either. That made my blood boil!

Yep click on "user cp" then go to "settings " and add their username to the ignore list.

Any recommendations for the best alarm system? Something that gives proximity warnings, notifies you via your cell phone, etc?

True, but you could argue that the thief in video #1 w/ the power grinder was personally threatening @ 0:35 so may be probable cause for use of a firearm for self defense.
or you could shoot the bike so they couldn't ride it away (kidding).

Normally that's how I feel about the Hyper. Not getting a new #27 Anni though. ....... hate thieves.

The anniversario might be safer out there, a lot more conspicuous. Although the bikes get parted out an Anni would pull a lot of unwanted attention. I had 2 rare cars and they were always safe, no one would steal them, too small a market for them and too easy to trace.

I also hate the Fkn thieves, some of them might be on this forum selling parts..... [emoji6]
