Ms production is awesome. Some of the parts differ from oem shape. Ilmberger is made by ms productions in florida and the prices are incredibly cheap. If you have an S take off the front carbon fender and it will probably be cm composites or ms production, mine was ms. I bought the duct covers and the fit better than the oem stock did. This bike is almost all ms production, notice the different shock cover and key guard. They also made parts for corse bikes in the past. Fit and finish is awesome. CDT is awesome too, just very expensive.

Depends on the size of the box however generally from US to AUS is about 50 bucks. Not too bad.... What's another 50 ontop of the 35k I've already spent on the beast. Haha

Guess ordering anything from US may be costly for you where you live?
Out of curiosity - what does normal shipping from US to your area normally cost?

I brought stuff over from the States to UK and Europe quiet often for the bikes, if its for personal use they don't seem to bother with the customs, and lower values its not worth the trouble or paperwork I guess.

We only pay import duty on items over $1000 AUD.... Most of the time you can get away with it, however if the value of the goods is on the outside then you will have to pay.
I bought a Dainese suit from Germany and got slugged $300 in duty.... but that was the only time.

Bought all my CF from CarbonTrader.com in the UK. Quality gear from CDT. To avoid Spanish import duty I went the big .... off suitcase route from the UK.

how would you have to pay import duty, Spain is in the E.U. along with the UK and Slovenia where CDT has its factory?
Or do they do like the other mickey mouse E.U. members and take from the UK and give nothing back!

Can someone tell me if the finish and weave on the Ilmberger heat shield matches the DP carbon weave? I had ordered the DP heat shield but it was taking longer than normal to come in they said, so I just cancelled the order. Then today Phil mentioned to me that the only effective shield comes from Ilmberger. I already have the DR rear hugger, just didn't want to order this and have to types of finishes and weaves going on back there

Hey all,

I am looking to add some additional carbon to my MY13 Pani however didnt want to splash out for DP Carbon given the cost.

Can anyone recommend someone that does Carbon that is very similar to DP Carbon but not quite at the Price point? Has to be decent quality as well as want to put in a Carbon heat shield on the termi.

Any advice would be appreciated.
