Hi... New to this forum, but long time Ducat enthusiast... I ride an 1199s and have been busy the past few months with modifications... It has been a rocky love affair with this bike but I'm finally happy with the end result... Hope you enjoy the pictures...

P.S. Thank You Randy at BelissiMoto...

LOL.
When I introduced these wheels a few months ago to everyone I caught hell for how "Fugly", big, out of style, and it sure seemed that no one liked them. Now that we had a buyer on them it seems opinions have changed a bit eh? Lesson to be learned here?

Congrats

I am happy you went out on a limb and got these brother! How nice is the aluminum box they came with too? Do you old wheels fit inside it easily?
Be sure to do a ride report after you get the feel of them down a bit please? :D

Thanks Gunny... Coming from a 998, this bike was amazing and agile in corners. Now if feels like your floating on air. The response is so quick. The pictures do not do these wheels justice as they are truly a work of art. The response has been overwhelmingly positive from fellow riders up at ACH. The box they came in was icing on the cake. Could not be happier. Again, Thank You for a great product.

Are they lighter than the stocks is the important question?

They don't look it by any means, but being Carbon fiber they are. When I mounted my lighter Mags, I felt like I had been pulling a trailer. But you get used to it really fast. The best mod you can do for a Pani is lighter wheels. Not the cheapest, but the best! :D

New Thread

Team (not entire membership-just the guy w the long screen name) :D

Think you could please post up a new thread about these wheels and your thoughts thus far on them? Include everything you can, including how easy they are to clean up etc ok?

Again, I applaud you for taking the step outside the norm and buying these from us. If they had been out way back when I bought my BSTs I may have put a set on my bike too just to be different. Love to hear all your thoughts about them and the aluminum case you received with them. Do you old wheels fit into this box no problem? So if you would please, create a new thread on the Rotobox Carbon Wheels bro!

Grazie!

Teamducatiracing- did you feel dramatic difference using the carbon fiber wheels versus the already light stock forged marchesini wheels on your 'S'?

I plan to purchase used BSTwheels from a friend for my Tricolore. Just want to know if replacing the already light forged stock marchesinis will make a difference? I would understand if I had the base model's heavy cast enkei wheels and went for carbons, then difference is worth the investment.

Please let me know....thanks.

Miguel
