Wich Carbon Wheels are the best for the Panigale?

If you want, give me comments and pictures please?

Thanx...

Dymag makes CF wheels. Not sure if they have a set for the Pani yet, but I had a set of their magnesium wheels on my 748 there were really nice.

I had a set on my 748 YEARS ago too. I take it you have not heard the story on Dymag?
Bankruptcy , come back, near bankruptcy again. etc. Not too stable now but yrs ago they were nice.

To add to "gunny fitz" nice pics of glossy BST (nice pics btw)

Here is some shots of my BST in "satin finish" to match the DP carbon on the 1199

And a pic to compare with the DP shock protector

Pretty much you can safely put your money in BST's, I did too, my only comment is that they should come out with a new design already. the 7 spoke design is starting to get old.

this picture was taken 2 years ago on my 848 and as I was shopping for rims for the Diavel, yet again the same 7 spoke design is what they offer. the shape is starting to look like early 2000's in the same way triangular wheels dominated in the 90's.

But for quality and performance improvement, I can say that BST's are the real deal. No question.

And as a side info for those having a set for 1x98 or SF and wants to put it on the Panigale, the adaptation kit from BST weights 0,27 lbs

Hi i am from Dymag (now CSA Performance Wheels)

And to debunk the myth of whether or not we are alive and kicking we are very much alive!

We are building back up to where we used to be and offer carbon fiber wheels for most Ducati's including the 1199 Pani. The original company went bankrupt but we are going strong and building momentum towards two new wheel design launches latter this year and early next year, and we plan on re-entering racing next season too.

For all inquiry's please head over to www.dymag.com and use the links for the information you require.

Thanks! :)

Dymag

Nice! Care to give us a sneak peak? :) Will they look similar to the BSTs?

I spent a good while looking over their website and agree they have some nice gear. During my quest for carbon wheels I even emailed BST directly to see if they planned on doing anything new for our unique 1199's and was unfortunately told no. True the 7 spoke design is a bit dated and needs something new to freshen up the look, but not sure what the answer is. Actually I like the gold mag wheel look best but even reading Dymags site they state what BST had told me. These wheels tend to "erode" and oxidize over time and both companies try their best to sell the carbon wheels most.

If Dymag comes out with something smoking hot for the 99 I would even consider swapping out for them if the quality is all the same. No offense to Halen or anyone else who digs it, but I am NOT a fan at all of the matte finish. Think I posted it on another thread. I am getting all stock DP carbon cleared nice and think, and all the Carbonvani stuff in high gloss to match the sweet BST wheels. Just my opinion which means dick. Go Dymag, go Dymag!

clearing the carbon

I like your style Gunny. Clearing it all sounds sweet.

Clear vs Matte

If you like the glossy clear look better send me a PM. I have a much easier way than getting things clear coated if you mean you are buying more carbon. If just keeping what you have now and want cleared, send me a PM still- I have a great POC for ya man!

Will these wheels be certified for road use?

Nice! Love the sexy satin and red stripes. Looks like it matches the DP CF well. Tough call between shiny and satin...
