Still in the medical centre, was unconscious for some time, might miss the second race... Bummer

Yeah, too bad! Supposedly he's being taken to the hospital
Hope he recovers soon and the injuries are not heavy.

Trust he has a quick recovery, that was one hell of a crash.

What happened? JUST got in to the live stream on be in and has the second superbikes race completed?

Yeah, was at turn 4 and saw it, chopper just left with him in it... Will see what the news is in the paddock...

please put spoiler alert. i am watching but others may not be. crash was crazy checas fault. he was doing well too. messed up the start but was hanging in there. what happened to melandri girl. i look forward to always seeing her.

I hope his okay! And can come back the second round of the championship
He also was doing good

Poor guy, what a horrible weekend for him, hope he's ok.

Ok, spoke to the team media, he is ok, had a scan, has concussion and is a bit knocked around... No broken bones...

Crash was caused by Checa loosing the rear and running in to deep into the corner... That's racing.. He has huge talent so its not a rider issue, the team say the telemetry shows front wheel lock up...

I'm glad he is ok. I was watching and it could have been much worse for him. He landed head first on the back of his head and you can see his helmet bounce. It's no wonder he was knocked out. Wish him a speedy recovery and healthy for the next round. That has to be one of the worst weekends for Ducati in a LONG time!!!

Carlos Checa is our only hope to put the Panigale on the podium.

Next round is his hometown...Aragon, Spain...he will be back with vengeance!

Go Checa!

but it is a high speed track! my fear is that the 4 cyl rockets will just fly by our 1199.

we'll see!

glad to hear #7 is okay!
