Hmm looks like Shell advance out Motul in, Regina out D.I.D. in

Yup...cos the SBK team of checa aint a Factory Ducati CorseTeam. Its only supported by Ducati Corse but Ducati is not putting main effort in SBK only in MotoGP...thus team of checa can use any brand they want...

Take a good look gents, I'd like to know where I can get one of those rear shocks....

Probably something in the "unobtanium" category!

He's got the swing arm set to P, thought F was for track use???

The R has an adjustable swing arm, who knows how these two work together, that is other than the techs setting up the bike for now.

The more interesting question is why that link even has the two positions since it's clearly not a stock link. I've seen other racing links for the Pani and they have very close together holes for small rate variations, but nothing that far apart. Odd...

Beautiful bike. Lovely livery. Also it's pretty academic reading you guys' forum posts because you guys notice much difference between the picture and your stock bike!

I wonder if Checa carries... Sorry guys just hopped over from another thread...

Hmmm going to have a look at this shock set up. I have a TTX from Haga's 2008 R1, took me a while to get hold of it... One of these will be available but only if ur prepared to offer up ur first born...

Looks like my son might become a single child... Hehehe...

That looks like a re skinned stock seat?

Maybe Checa didn't like the height increase of the racing seat?

Any know if the wsbk rules now make them run with the stock rims? That doesn't seem likely.

Nope, no such rule. Besides, those are almost certainly just on there for publicity shots (to make the bike look more like the stocker, you know, sort of like the fake lights are intended to do.. Transport wheels, really...)

I've seen three different wheels on the RS13 so far. Some that do appear stock like in these Althea publicity shots, some more robust forged mags in a similar crow's foot, 3 into 9-spoke pattern (see the MCN vid on the RS13), and also a 5 into 10 Y-spoke wheel that's in the official Ducati RS13 vid. Interestingly, in the last one Bayliss is on the stock-looking wheels while Checa's on something obviously more exotic.
