DP Comfort seat is no doubt gorgeous, the best looking on the market IMO. I took delivery of my 1st Pani May of last yr and clocked 8K miles on the stock seat including a rough 1200 mile round trip to Indy.

Took delivery of my '13 in the last week in April and decided to invest in a Comfort seat, but have yet to feel comfortable on it lol. It's tall, but I can still stand flat footed no problem. The discomfort comes from riding and I've tried many different riding positions in my quest for comfort.

On this seat you're always sitting on your taint, I don't know how female riders feel about this, they may appreciate it LOL. It helps with the heat just a little bit, but not $270 worth.

Any other Pani riders with this seat feel the same?

Lmfao!! Hence why I have the comfort seat AND invested in the Kuimoto w the Gold Gel Pads too. Yet to be seen which is worse off for runs longer than an hour or more.

Found myself it took about 1000 miles to break in, it gets softer and more comfy with use.

I have a modified DP Race seat (foam removed so it sits lower) and then I got my DP Comfort seat from a friend that totaled his Tri. I think it is more comfortable for longer runs than the DP race seat, but it doesn't "transform" the bike into a tourer by a long shot. I move around side-to-side and back-and-forth in different positions so as to avoid getting stiff in certain spots on freeway stints longer than 20 minutes. Didn't pay retail so I'm happy with the slight increase in comfort. At $270 I'd likely feel the same way.

I'll give you $50 for it to have a spare and modify the one I've got though :D

I've clocked 2600 miles on it...and (no ....) its worst when I shave my nuts lol

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree and I think in all the other seat threads I don't remember people bringing up the issue with the "fellas", but it's definitely there for me too. With any other bike I've ridden I don't recall having this issue

I did 1000km on the stock seat, changed to the comfort seat and still glad I did. It also took a bit to soften up but now it's great.

I have done some long rides using this seat... 450+ .. and I find it about the most comfortable Sport bike seat ever..and I have had Corbin on previous bikes too...I guess it comes down to personal experience/expectations....

I never pay MSRP for sh!t, ever ! Paid $220 for a brand new seat...just said $270 to make all who paid that or slightly less not feel so bad haha.

Haha, then I'll make you feel bad because my buddy with the totaled Tri sold it to me for $90 in brand new condition (it wasn't on the bike when he crashed). ;)

I have positive experience with the comfort seat, did 2k on stock seat and 5.5k on comfort seat, then put that seat on my '13 till now (another 1,400 miles). Love it!!

Aww darn it lol....still not worth it...tho I love looking at it and taking pics of it HAHA .

I guess I'll just have to remain on the back road twisties and take the long way anywhere I go so, in contrast, my ... doesn't go numb.

I've got 1200 miles on my comfort seat with no complaints. It heats up but other than that it's well, comfortable.

I got the race seat after a 70 mile ride on the stocker. It was awful... I have no complaints with the race seat.

Yes I find that it heats up too. Do you guys clock 200+ miles every other day tho? I ride a lot, and no, not mostly hwys...it hurts in town and hwys.

After 20 miles I'm continuously switching cheeks and switchin weight from my wrist to butt to knees ugh.

Good to see some are getting their monies worth...

I've done a couple 5+ hour rides. Still stand by my statement. Have you tried aftermarket rearsets?

Nope, and maybe that's my problem because i've always invested in rear sets because I like a really high and to the rear foot position...just haven't pulled the trigger yet. hmmm

Do it, I couldn't ride the bike at the track with the stockers. They were too low (moved them further back too) and didn't yield enough control/feedback. You seem like you might have long legs like me, highly recommend.

Actually im "only" 5'10", but I've always like my pegs really high and back...I feel more comfy going fast (kinda like drag racing) and can clench the tank better. My riding style is fwd on the seat and close to the tank...hence sitting on my taint on the comfort seat lol
