I searched around but didn't find what I was looking for so here goes...

Now that people have had them on for a little while is anyone having any issues? When I talked to the tech at my local dealership months ago, I thought he mentioned something about issues after installing aftermarket blinkers etc. Meaning after splicing wires in it could possibly throw codes or something since it's different than the oem stuff.

Any thoughts?

I have the comp werks and haven't had a single problem. Pick it up. It's real nice and clean. Many compliments about it.

and if I remember correctly you've had yours for a few moths right?

had you had it serviced since? If so did they say anything about it after hooking it up to the data thing?

Yup, since October I believe. When I went to service they actually asked me if I installed it and who it was made by since it was the nicest one they've seen. When I told them I installed it, He said great job. Nice clean install zip tied and out of the way. He had no issue getting to the diagnostic port.

Awesome! Good to know thanks man! Gonna have to put an order in then.

Yeah I agree. The LTD one isn't exactly what I'm looking for. MA hassles ya enough without giving them even more reasons to.

Nice! I'm sure you'll love it. Hit me up if you have trouble getting the blinkers on. Very easy but in the instructions it looks complicated

Thanks brutha I appreciate the offer. I'll let you know if there's any issues.

Cobra I got mine this week. I got both licence plate holders. Let me ask you this. I got a signal with to triangle designs. They take up the whole vent have 11 LEDs in them. Before I install them I had them in the vents. I hate them. The old signal was horizontal and took up half the vent. Know anything about that? I will try and post a picture I'm doing this from phone.

Ha, yeah no prob. The turn signals go in the vent hole with double side sticky tape. A lil confusing at first. Also gotta make sure they don't stick out to much when you stick them on or they'll hit the side plastics on the tail.

To far out......

thanks. Dumb question but I haven't seen one in real life yet so... do you have to drill through the vents so the blinker wires aren't exposed?

Nope. You route the wires in the tail and into where your tool kit is and plug it all in there. I zip tied the wires and tucked them and you can still get your tool kit in there with no problem.

ok cool. I took apart the entire tail one day in hopes of fabricating my own eliminator out of sheet metal but that was a while ago so I forget the actual innards of the thing. I've installed at least a few eliminators in the past so I can't imagine this one will be too much of a challenge.
