Completing First Service Early?

I'm not sure what the dealers are doing during your first service, DDS (Ducati Diagnosis System) is fully capable of resetting a service indicator early. I know, I do the Managed IT for a few dealerships and work with it.
I had mine done on the 1299 40-ish miles early and 100 miles early on my Monster 1200s.. Either they are worried a warranty audit will bite them in the ... down the road if you have a claim (it won't) or if they are charging you to turn it off, you're getting screwed. Connecting the bike to DDS is a required part of ANY service to a Ducati, the tech just needs to push a button and tell it to reset the reminder...

Guy was able to reset mine with no issues at 615. So never got a chance to see the service light. He did that well but had to take a pint of oil out to get it to the correct level when I got home.

Good with a computer, not so much with a funnel.

Does anyone know if they re-torque the heads during the first service or is it just a check of easily accessible fasteners?- I'm assuming the latter but wondered if anyone that services these things knows for certain

Wasn't on the checklist of things "to do" I looked at it this morning, steering head, calipers etc but nothing on the engine beyond oil+filter and ECU checks/updates. I don't service them but I did check with the head tech at the dealership.
