Now I know a lot of us don't like bluetooth helmets for controlling our phones for calls & music, but for those of us that do listen to music, take calls, among other things there is this small company called BearTek that is developing fingertip touch controlled motorcycle gloves.

You can have a look at what they are doing by clicking here.

They are trying to raise about 50k and have raised about 12k. So if you do think the idea could be useful, please support them.

PS: I have no association with them.

Prasen - What I thought this was at first, and what I would like to see, are touch screen capable mototcyle gloves (they have them for normal), or at least fingertips you can glue on to a mototcylce glove. I can hear music and take calls fine from my Sena in my helmet. But I would like to control my yoke-mounted iPhone5 while wearing gloves. I mean I can listen to music while riding, take a call, and it goes back to music. Siri can make calls, write texts, etc. But being able to manipulate the screen would be helpful at times.

Trauma, I shouldn't admit it but I cut a small hole in the finger tip of my street glove to solve the problem

RS Taichi came out with a new street glove this year that has electrostatic pads on the index finger and thumb so you can "swipe" with your gloves on. I got a pair of them and they're AWESOME!! I have my Scala Rider set up so I can stream music off my iPhone as well as answer calls, and it makes it very easy (when stopped, of course) to just pop the phone out of my jacket pocket and swipe away. Very cool.

Here are some pictures of them, you can see the grey electrostatic pads on the fingers:

Perfect!!! I am asking Santa for these. With my stem mounted iPhone, I can use it as phone, music, GPS, and video camera this way.

to be honest i have 3 easy step solution for this problem:

1.Ram Mount X-Grip holder
2.Scala Rider G9 headset - bluetooth capable,music etc
3 touch screen compatible GLOVES

Wow cool stuff guys!!! I'm definitely getting the Taichi Raptor Gloves :)

Since we are on the topic of cool gear, I am probably cancelling my order for these:

If anyone wants them (I had 2 on hold), Ill put you in touch with the seller since they are now out of stock.

Its a HUD device that you put on your helmet, which gives you the rpm, speed & the speed camera warnings :)
