There is one thing I see eye to eye on with him for sure.
I recovered the seat on the clown car to marine vinyl with some graining. The stock seat material is so grippy relative to my suits it's hard (I'm old) to move back and forth across the bike when I'm working hard. I get the de rigueur thing is now grippy. On the trip we took in September I ended up wearing my rain paints everyday to negate this (my rain pants were done by time we got home). I miss the proper ducati superbike seats. Flat with a little kick-up at the rear and that material they used for decades. I can climb all over my other bikes like a monkey on well, monkey bars.
