Cornering ABS from Panigale 1299 R Final to 1299s ...

Hey all,

This may be a very dumb question, excuse my Ducati ignorance..

But is it possible to obtain the same updated electronics as is on 1299 R Finale Edition, and make it work on a 'standard' 1299 or 1299s ?

In particular, the cornering ABS that they 've added on the final edition is of interest.

I don't think it is possible, because as far as I remember, the FE has a IMU (similar, but not the same as the Superleggera), which the S doesn't have.

What does your dealer say?

2015 1299 and 1299s have corning ABS and the IMU so in theory it should be possible.

DP Evo Update, from your dealer will give you the updated software Profiles.

the 2017 1299s had the Evo update as standard, as i also had my 2016/17 1299s updated as part of the purchase package.

if you track the bike it might be worth a closer look on the current price

Having your ECU updated- flashed will give you the ability to do this, like stated above bye others.. Best wishes
