So i will be looking to buy either the v4 or new v2 this summer (canada). With the shut down in italy for just about everything, anyone think there be a shortage? i'm assuming they are made in italy for the north american market?

I got a call from a car dealer yesterday and the guy literally said “with the Coronavirus thing going on we’ve got some great deals right now”. I couldn’t believe he said that. But that aside I’d guess businesses are hurting and now would be the time to get a deal.

Probably with delay from factory.
I understand world-leaders are trying to keep freight-transports between Europe and North-America going as much as possible.
Besides, the new V2 you might buy is already assembled and crated by Bologna well before the lock-down.

On the safe side, if you want to be sure you ride your V2/V4 Pani this summer, you better buy local available new/ occasion stock?

Seen a V4S with 1000 miles , full titanium exhaust guy wasn’t 26k. It’s on Consignment. I bet you can get it for 25K maybe less. Not sure if that’s an amazing deal or not however sure sounds like it .

Ducati Detroit Michigan , seen it Friday last week

Either way its gonna be a disaster for the dealers/service shops they couldn't fix these before the shut down now it will be a year or longer before customers get there bikes back.

I know some folks (not at Ducati but in the same region) and basically, Italy is shut down for two weeks, period. The whole country. Don't blame them but that's the deal. Hopefully, we don't have to do the same thing here in the US.
