How much is real carbon and how much is wrap
There is no wrap. The swing arm, tail section gold and red bit and the electrical plastic housing panels beneath the fairing are hydrographically dipped. Everything else is carbon fibre. How much is real carbon and how much is wrap
Um, wow!
"The numbers all go to 11."
That is the correct answer.
Hi Dezi, you didn't sound like a hater at all. Track riding/racing is I think the purest expression of pragmatism and utilitarian pursuit. As such my bike represents the opposite in some ways. Because the original bike is and will always be way more capable than I am, or indeed want to be, I put my efforts into developing its already glorious aesthetic attributes. It's easier to be an average rider on a stunning bike than a stunning rider on an average bike! All the best.Hope I didn't sound like a hater flog Pete, I appreciate the work you have put into it .
I too did lots of cosmetic upgrades to my old S2R1000 Monster
Im just in a different place now as most well 95% of my riding is on circuit .Enjoy she is a sparkling diamond .
Thanks for posting. Yes I guess under hard braking it could be an issue-I’ll address this-thank you.Admire the passion. If it makes you happy and doesn’t hurt anyone - go for it.
May not be an issue for what you intend but could the left fork bottoming out onto that brake line on hard braking be an issue?

Almost done...
That bike screams ITALIANThere is gold and red a bit
No it isn’t. It’s heat resistant/reflective tape specifically designed for this type of application. Under it the pipe is first wrapped in heat insulating open weave exhaust cloth.I hope that isn't DEI reflective gold tape on the exhaust loop...
I lived in Italy for 7 years, great coffee and design flare! That bike screams ITALIAN
Starbucks too : )
See a previous response I made re the ‘gold tape’ lols. No ‘wires or cables’ have been routed in any fashion other than stock. ‘Mechanical mess’ feels like a superior sneer and is wholly inaccurate. What mess are you referring to if I might ask? The mechanical architecture of the stock bike has not been changed in any way-let alone compromised.I must admit that past a glance, I really didn’t look too closely at some things but as Don and a few others have pointed out, there are a few rather glaring issues and from a mechanical perspective. Gold tape on the header, that ain’t gonna fly. That decision was void of mental clarity.
The routing of certain wires and cables was not well engineered and the painstaking detail in color coordinating just about every piece but spending no time cleaning up the mechanical mess (brake lines, wires, cables etc). I’m not bashing the bike at all but very little detail was centered on mechanical aspects that ultimately detract from the package. Just my opinion.
I kinda knew where that would end up. All good. Carry on my good sir
harsh comments, i see zero difference between Pete's bike and the latest bayliss, the foggy or the sp. They are all just paint n' stickers.
