Cranks but will not start

I have a 2016 1299S that started having issues starting on occasion. It has no problem turning over and the fuel pump primes and all... just will not start. If I leave it for a while and try again it it seems to do a little better. (If this was an old Chevy I would say it was a fuel filter...)
Any ideas?
AND does anyone know how to check the fuel pressure on a 1299? (I have a service manual but it does not mention how to perform the check.)

Try removing the evap canister. Even if that don’t work you can do without it.

There was a guy on here a couple months ago asking and asking about fuel pressure...

No one responded to him

Know it all's? Well don't just throw that out and leave us hanging, make the introduction, I have a few questions. By the diversity of posts Don responds I would assume he is at least one of the two. The pump, (the actual pump motor) that is 1299 is rated at 43PSI at 12 volts according to Bosch.
· Min Input Voltage: 12V
· Flow Rate: 110-120LPH @ 43PSI/12V
· Flow Rate: 140-160LPH @ 43PSI/13.5V
· Current: 5.0A@43PSI/12V
