BTW, you have my old racing number. Used to tell people I had it because it looked the same upside down as rightside up and I wanted to be sure I got scored properly...

Running in Ausalian superbike - Prostock... Got a remap from the Ducati boys today... Fxed the throttle issues, cleaned up the pickup and just made heaps more drive... Guess you have to be in the right place at the right time...

Going to take some photos of my bike and theirs in the Ducati pit tomorrow, if that's not cool enough they are helping with set up... Hoping to find some more time...

He's a top guy too... Very humble..

Wow - very impressive.

So, up-date on this weekend, I like Philip island and normally go well here, the had the settings in the bike from our test and Pirelli have brought some "special" tyres for the superbikes.

Practice was open for tyres so we chose to stay on the ones fitted to the bike from the previous test, had a nightmare in tec-spec, I'm the only pani in the national paddock and they chose to be difficult about the inner belly pan... This seems to be the paten for the weekend... First practice was great, very windy but ran a 1:40.3 which is not bad given the state of the track at turn 2... Having some problems with the bike pumping at the back, but it was not too bad..

Lost first qualifying due to the super sport boys crashing... 5 in total...

So finally got out to qualify, had fitted the new "special" Pirelli, the rear shock failed on the second lap, the tyre needs more heat to work and the rear was in simple terms (....) was pumping due to the shock loosing oil and nitrogen, so no drive out of the corners, tried to put a quick lap in, almost crashed... 1:52... But bike is still ok...

Fitted new shock... Will test again in warm up at 8:55 this morning, you can live feed our times on the net if you are interested to see how much we improve today... Might be starting at the back of the grid.. An unfamiliar place.. Will make for an interesting race...

Well, that was better, rear felt a bit more compliant, the new tyre from Pirelli is conflicting with the DTC, Ive been told to turn it off by the factory boys. It was stopping me from driving out of Siberia and turn 12, I'm disappointed with the tyre... The WSBK guys are getting 6-8 laps and they are chunking...

Bikes turning and tipping in to the corner well so we need to get back to Thursdays settings..

First race at 1:00 pm this afternoon... Is windy..

The factory team have some issues, Carlos is injured. Will ride but not ok.. Bvini is out for the weekend... No bike...

Missing N-techs

Carlos isn't banged up too bad, he just went P1! Sucks for Badovini though

I had an off at lukies, bugger... Stayed on the bike tho... I'm looking deeper for this issue... One of the swing arm bolts has moved!!!

Good luck with your racing Bowdy. Hope you do well. And thanks for all the news for those of us who cannot be there.

Check out Andrew goslings site, some big crashes in race one... Especially turn 4... Some carnage on 12 also, Murray Clark had a huge crash... Glad to still have the bike in one piece... Have big issues with the change of direction? Getting very lost... Think its either hub or swing arm mounts... Hope to sort for race 2... Not a good start to the season...

Phil my team mate on the other hand went very well...

Some of the HP is questionable.. Happy with the pani in that area..
