Just wanted to update the group, I tried the DB Daemon mirrors and have to say the build quality is first class. Tat said, I have decided to sell them as I’m too used to bar end mirrors from old bikes.

Anyone thinking of the Daemon range then don’t doubt… they are top quality. DM me if you want details.

Photos could be good. I was looking at those. I like bar ends as well but the blinker solutions have me full of doubts.

I’m going full A-Team mode and building my own. Taking some flush mounted leds and will fit into block off plates to see what they look like.

Once available I will buy Futurismoto option but that’s probably in Sep. As I want something now ;-) I have no option. Did something similar for the rear plate light and it worked a treat.
 
We're on the same page. I'm not super impressed with options enough to have bought anything yet so around I go with this dumb-... lic. plate holder/plastic exhibition space.
Same boat with mirrors/blinkers. I'd love to see what you've come up with.

A lic. plate holder - Not the most complex part I can think of. I heard someone is thinking of a flip-up version. You know, for track-days.

Futurismoto - ah ya, the Oregon guy. Not bad stuff.
I was thinking to 3D print something like that. Why the hell would you want billet AL for a little block-off blinker? If you're making 1 or 10 and those are your tools, ok.
There are some seriously strong 3D printing plastics out now including carbon fiber filled.

I'm actually debating getting these for my 1199s. My only apprehension is the cost $780.00 to us Canadians. Having said that quality and look they are the best option in regards to pull and replace option.
 
I agree in terms of switch options. Quality is first class, my issue was on the stork length and therefore my visibility… I went back to bar ends.
 
Well I purchased these for my 1199s Monday evening and they arrived from Italy today! They are a work of art and absolutely tiny. Since it’s minus 20 here in Toronto today I don’t think I will be testing them out for two or three months. Regardless the fact they are a plug and play replacement and absolutely gorgeous I think they are going to be just the ticket. They make the OEM look absolutely terrible imho.

That's good to hear. I just ordered mine earlier today. I really wanted folding ones.
 
I'm hoping I didn't speak too soon. I went to fit these to my 1199s today and as far as I can see they left no room to hide the wiring so you can mount these. There is absolutely no room for the wiring that I can see. Unless I have the wrong mirrors or missing something.dbrace_Mirror1.jpegdbrace_Mirror2.jpeg
 
I cannot comprehend the design here. Even without the rubber oem gasket they have made no room for the wiring quick connects. The mounting points have no crevice to hide the wiring at all.
 
I can’t tell from the photo but on the V4 there are 3 holes in the fairing to mount the mirrors. 1 hole for each bolt and in between the bolt holes is a smaller hole to run the wiring through.

Push the electrical connectors through the middle hole in the fairing.

The plastic covers on the inside of the fairing cover the wires and connectors.

The connectors will only push through the holes in the fairing in one orientation, so if they don’t go through just rotate 90 degrees.

Thanks Burton the challenge with that on the 1199 is the wires are exposed in that situation on the inside of the fairing unlike the OEM. There is nowhere to hide the quick connects because the channel is too small. The only possible scenario I can think of is removing the whole top fairing to hide the wiring somewhere which would be ridiculous and defeat the purpose of having quick connect mirrors.
 
I did get these installed. I assume it's only the 899/1199 this are a bit of a challenge as you have to route the wiring just below the fairing stay there is a very small channel you can just about squeeze the quick connects down. So basically if you go to the track a lot these are not mirrors you can quickly remove and connect again compared to OEM if you have an 899/1199. I assume V2 and V4 doesn't have this problem.
