Hi to all I take delivery of the DB8SP Thursday 7 th lets hope it's as good as the photos. Are there any issues that need sorting? It will spend most of its life on the Nurburging:)

This is my first Bimota usually I think they look ugly, But this one looks the business and supposedly handles well. The last Duc I owned was a 996 sps which I had from new and went back after 2 months due to being ......

I have a Bimota DB7, you need to watch out for the polymer tank - NEVER leave it without 1/2 tank of fuel and stabilizer over the winter. Otherwise, the tank will swell and crack. Bimota SpA will not warranty it either (just like the DUCATI 1098r tank I have replaced).

Great bike, telepathic chassis, you will not need traction control because you will know what goings on beneath you. I did change the OEM tires IMMEDIATELY to Pirelli Supercorsa DAY1.

Also put a heel scratch guard on the left side swing arm paint (red) where the heel of your boot will touch.

Best,

George Villar

I have put some pics in my gallery haven't quite worked out how to post them. When I get some more time I will investigate. Not sure which forum to post in but glad to be here.:)

Bimota constructs such special bikes!
My wishes to enjoy this peace of art... What a great choice. :) :)
