Has anyone used a DDA on an Apple Mac and know why I can't see the GPS map window? it teasing me by being hidden on the right hand side but when I try to slide it open it will not open??

Should I also see a GPS channel when I open the file? I see speed, throttle, gears, etc but no GPS.

PS - Hello from Almeria, Spain! bloody tricky track to get the hang of. Deffo no speed records on the first day, managed a 1 min 57sec which is not too fast! Should speed up as I learn the track over the next three days. First world problems :)

I'm using it on a Mac and it works fine. I'll take a look at it when I get home.

Thanks. I think it's a bug on the software rather than something I'm not doing. This is all I get, I can drag open the GPS window by about 2cm and it just closes itself again. Very irritating.

Had no joy with this and have just got home from the trip to Almeria.

I've just found a screen shot in the help section of the App that shows a separate GPS channel which I am not getting when I download the data.

It's odd because the GPS is definitely working as it shows GPS on screen and it automatically started and stopped the lap timer every time I went past the start/finish position on track.

It's buggy as heck on my Mac. I can get it to work but certain buttons in the software disappear and then you have to guess where they are to get it to finish loading. "Kludgy" would be the perfect word for the DDA software.

In the first pic you cant see that if all the boxes are left checked, the "Next" button is visible. If you uncheck any of those boxes then everything disappears and you have to remember where the "Next" button is to get it to move forward (Pic 2). The next step is selecting which laps to view, if you leave all of them the the "Finish" button shows up (Pic 3), if you unselect any of them, then the "Finish" button disappears (Pic 4)

That looks like handwork Slickwill! I havn't have any problems like that on mine so far.

Marco very kindly answered my question. I needed to download the flash update from the website. It says it's just for the supersport data acquisition kit but it's also for the GPS as well and it looks to have solved my problem. I can't tell for sure until the bike comes back from Spain but I'm optimistic. It's a shame I didn't have more time to test this before Spain as I was really looking forward to seeing the maps, but at least I have all the data still.

This (well known) bug was fixed on the latest software release (3.2.4). It was a OSX Yosemite compatibility issue that has been solved on the mentioned release about a week ago.

Ciao
Marco
