though, the original point was about the OTD price. What if the OTD ends up being $37K on an S model? We all know about the MSRP... they won't change and the bike spec won't change either. Pretty much what you're committing to when putting a deposit. So of course the changes are that you might get what you requested when putting a deposit. Hard to say "I don't want it anymore cause it's too expensive give me my deposit". The hidden part (dealer fee) is what I'd be worried about. They could bump up their own fee due to the fact that you're already committed with a deposit and that the bike is the actual bike you committed to, at the right MSRP.

I've never done it in the past which is why I might sound a little ...... ;)

The credit card thing seems to be a great option.

You know dealerships are required to abide by full disclosure regulations right? The 80's are long gone as are packing payments. A lot of people in the industry went to jail for the .... that went on at dealers.

Dealer fees (aka dealer processing) is advertised on one of the walls and/or outside the business office. It doesn't change from bike to bike. Dealer freight/setup are going to be added but they are also going to have separate quotable line items. In fact all fees are required to be individualized for full disclosure.

Thank you for that insightful and informative response.

I've discussed warranty's at length on this site. If that price is for the EverRed program backed by JM&A then its a really good price. If your dealer is still working with another company (like Interstate or RPMOne ect ect...) they may have a cheaper option.

If you are truly interested in the warranty hit them back stating your interest but see what they can do with the pricing. Yes, its negotiable too.

I am a car salesman... ;) Of course it is :D
