So I have seen many variations on the theme of this but have not yet run across this specific combo on the forums. I was riding, hit a bit of a bump, and the bike died one day with these three warning indicators. With these indicators the bike will not attempt to start. while I have never before encountered them while running I have had these warnings come up on startup before but previously I could just turn the key off and back on, and it would go away sometimes immediately sometimes after 5-10 minutes.
This brings me to trouble shooting.
-I have cleaned, greased and reseated all of the connectors that I can think actually impact the DES system. (main harness to BBS, shock connectors front/rear, SCU module to harness).
-I have checked the continuity of the shock actuators and they all read correct leading me to believe that there is no issue with the shocks front or rear.
-I have checked all of the fuses associated with these systems in the fuse box. (I am swapping out some of the fuses with new ones to make sure I did not miss something.)
In trying to isolate what could be the issue I learned...
-if I unplug the BBS I get an additional BBS warning.
-if I unplug any of the shocks I do not get additional warning lights
-if I unplug the SCU I do not get additional warning lights
Does anyone know what warnings you get if you unplug the SCU?
My current theory is that either the SCU is bad. (This could be verified by these 3 warnings showing when someone unplugs their SCU on a bike with no issues.) OR the ECU timing of the CAN modules is off (I think this is less likely; however, I would like to test by reflashing the ECU, but I am having issues with my Tuneboy and can not get a hold of them for help.)
