Differences Between 2023 and 2024 V4?

Base 22-24 V4 should be around $19-20k stock. S should be around $23-24k. But dependent on mileage obviously
I just noticed your post SuperDomestique, is this figuring in the exceptionally low miles for the $20K value?

That would put my offer with TT&L plus dealer prep at about $22,100, $6000 under their driveaway price quote, so they're not even in the ballpark.

A used 2023 base with 451 miles at $25,999 isn't a good deal. Ducati Omaha has a new 2024 base for $24,995 on Cycle Trader. There's also a 2024 V4S with 263 miles for $26,995.

I presume the 2023 base is all stock?

I wouldn't pay dealer prep on a used bike. They already bled someone for the crating/assembly fee.
 
Thanks BP, have you been able to verify that the 2024 Base model is actually still there at Ducati Omaha? There are a lot of '24s listed on Motohunt and Cycle Trader at $24,995, when you call them though, they tell you the bike was sold 6 months ago and they never took the ad down. Trust me, I have been looking all over the US for a new '24 base model and there are none left. I think a lot of folks were put off by the looks of the '25 and ended up with a '24. If you guys know of a clean, low mileage '24 available somewhere for dirt cheap , let me know, I'm a cash buyer.

I've done my research and no one is selling an immaculate '23 V4 base model with under 451 miles for $20,000, sorry but it's just not happening.

$23,500 + TT&L is more realistic based on my homework which would put you right around $25,200 drive out.
 
@Kruz i got a 2020 V4s (with full race exhaust) at 4K miles...lots of carbon extras and bike was basically mint...for 22K in 2024. I was happy with that, at the time the only S model with full exhaust, under 25-27K (this past september) in Texas...

I had a similar experience with Cycle Trader, sometimes the bike is there, sometimes not. Finding recent ads is preferable. eBay is good for this as you can save searches and get emailed updates.

They can price anything anyway they want. Doesn't mean that's what they'll get. I always buy my used private party (the dealers can blow me) motorcycles in the winter. Nothing sells between thankgiving and Tax Day. The disappearing and reappearing ads are the old ones that are pulled and reposted so you can't see they've been posted for sale for months. Like JAG I look for low mileage poser specials with the pricey stuff already purchased like exhaust systems, rearsets etc. Bring cash and one cannot negotiate if they're not ready to walk away.

Sounds like you have budget for a good bike, don't sweat the price too much. sure if you can save a few thousand great but its not the end of the world to pay a bit more to get what you want. Post '22 the changes to the bike are minimal.
 
Well I finally found a brand new, still on the showroom floor, 2024 V4 out of state at a Ducati dealer, 1100 mile round trip to pick it up but one of my riding buddies has a toy hauler RV and he's going to buy a low mileage V4S the same day from a private seller 20 minutes away from the Ducati dealer, so we'll split the fuel costs, roughly $250. Federal Motorcycle Transport quoted me $949 to deliver it to Dallas so it's well worth the the drive up and we have tie downs for two bikes inside the RV to keep them out of the weather. Hoping for a nice road trip!
BTW, Mint called me back after rejecting my OTD offer of $26K on the '23 V4, they said they could do $27K but I politely declined. I prefer a new '24 with 2 year warranty for the small difference in price.

I bought the new 2024 V4 this morning, I didn't dicker on price, paid the $24,995 MSRP, $26,685 drive out. I'm happy, will pick it up next Friday in Nashville.

You are selling your '22 V4S for $23K? Mileage, mods and condition, tracked or street ridden only?

Average list price is $26,494 for that model so yea, someone should get a good deal.
