i will be taking ownership in a couple of weeks on my 2013 Tricolore..

My question: I ordered the full termi with headers. If the UP MAP is installed, shouldn't it say "RACING EVO" ?

The tech guy who is installing my aftermarket parts on my bike told me that even though the bike has a full termi system it will say only say "RACING" and not "RACING EVO."
I found this odd because the manual I downloaded ( Ducati Canada) also says the FULL system UP MAP when loaded properly will say "RACING EVO."

He even said the "R" models only say "RACING" when you start them up...

I am really confused... This has to be a mistake on his behalf no?

Yes, if the full exhaust map is on there, it will say RACING EVO, just as you think.

What he said. Should read that as soon as you turn on the ignition switch.
I didn't see it either since my up-map didn't take the first time so I had to go back and have him do it again.

Thanks so much gents for the answers
I guess I am also entitled to that UP MAP stick when I get that bike..

Is there a possibility that the UP MAP stick holds more than 1 map, meaning for slip ons , and for full systems, and he loaded the wrong one?
Or, is there only one map on that stick ?

Thanks again Gents

Only holds the map for the system that it came with.

Slip-ons = Racing

Full Termi = Racing Evo

Looks to me that since the Tri comes with slip-ons and that was the map for them and when the full termi got put on, someone else took the USB Thumb Drive for the full system for something else.

I would make the seller cough it up.

I thought if they installed the separate full manifold/ header by Termi , that box would have the full system UP MAP stick?....

It should have the Up Map that says "Racing Evo". Either the tech did not install it correctly or Ducati sent wrong map.

Have tech double check to make sure map was actually up loaded from USB thumb drive. I believe the maps are switched between bike and thumb drive so if you ever want to change back you can.

The bike should have had "Racing" already on it since it had slip-ons. I don't know how it works but you might have to take "Racing" off first and go back to stock map with the first thumb drive and then upgrade with "Racing Evo" thumb drive.

If the Termi slip-on map was already installed, it has to be "uninstalled" and put back on its own USB stick.(You are basically reinstalling the stock map) Then you can load the full Termi map via it's own stick.

I did the full exhaust install on my own, so I am quite familiar with the process.
