Its pretty scary how addicted I see kids are to their phones. And adults are just as bad. You really have to watch like a hawk.

Slovenia worse I have experienced, its the worse even than Croatia and Serbia for jumping red lights and phones, one day going out of Ljubljana I came along side one women reading a kindle!
Police do nothing except give me a 250 euro bills for doing 70 in a 50 kph zone in the middle of nowhere, I when the police stopped me last year I asked why they do nothing about phones the reply was I was better value for money, this week I have footage of a police car, driver on the phone.

u have to really not value your life very much if you ride street.

Life activities that include risk, only add to the value of ones life. Everyone has different risk tolerance, making their choices worthy and richer for them.

On topic: Distracted driving has always been a problem. Eating, make-up, kids.....just now the activity requires direct attention (reading), and therefore makes it more dangerous. As a motorcyclist, and cyclist I strain my brain frequently trying to come up with an un-biased effective solution. No joy to date. Head on a swivel out there folks.

some people enrich their lives playing russian roulette too...

Street riding for someone in Manhattan is probably a different experience to someone in Phoenix as well, I doubt that I would like to be on a bike in that sort of environment but I agree with you Kwak, I love my bike and wouldn't give up street riding, the only way to get around, there are probably better bikes to do it on but none as much fun.

I've ridden on Manhattan, and am pretty sure if I lived there that I would not commute on a motorcycle, much less on my Pani. Phoenix is crazy, but Manhattan makes it look like a ride in the burbs.

I've been hit from behind twice on my motorcycles here in Phoenix......one of them pretty seriously. My risk evaluation still says "You need this" so I go! It helps having an understanding wife. ;-)

Ride well JonT

I decided to not to ride in Seoul Korea for 2 years when I was there...although, I could've shipped Pani for free. It was a good choice and now that I am back...I have not ridden on street either other than few times..
