DQS gp shift QS problem

Hello all, pretty new here and hoping for some help!

Have a set of Ducati Performance rearsets on my 1199s Panigale and also a GP SHIFT quickshifter but its not working for some reason.
When i got the bike it was in road pattern, so flipped the gear control lever 180degrees to get it into GP shift but quick shifter not working.

Have attached photos for help! Really want to get this sorted and enjoy the DQS goodness!

You don't need the Gp shifter with the DP rearsets the way you have it configured. Swap back over to your old shifter and you're golden

noticed your comment in other thread as well but unfortunately i dont have the original shifter available

if i flip the shifter i dont believe it will fit as there as zero space/clearance at the rear set end.
so i guess i have to try and track down an original shifter.
