Faulty map sensor won't stop it revving, you need to get the fault code, then you know exactly what the problem is, not guessing.

Not true—I replaced the rear MAP sensor and problem solved. Revs to redline and dash error warning gone. I’m sure the code is still held in ECU memory but she runs as new again. My guess is, excess heat from the rear cylinder cooked the sensor.

Hey Mate, Yes I have attached pics on past threads. It was the TPS sensor wires shorting out due to damage.
