So I went outside to turn the bike on tonight and it won't start up.

No lights
No sound
Nothing.

Last rode it 2 nights ago and was running fine. Things I've looked at;

- All fuses are OK
- Charge on battery is OK
- Faulty connections and/or corrosion on battery
- Plugged charger directly onto the battery and still no change

All failed. Video below - thoughts? let me know what you think and I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow.

Cheers,
Jeff

Oh snap, sorry, I have nothing but I wish you good luck!

Looks like a lock/ key switch error to me though, if nothing happens there...

dealership called back.

Problem is either with the stator or regulator cause the battery isn't charging.

Replacement - approx. 15 working days.

Damn.

wow.

glad they got it "figured out" though...

Great to hear they figured out the problem. You'll be alright, the forecast here in Sydney ain't that good for the coming week so you won't miss out on much lol

Soooo... funny story, called back today to find out which part is exactly at fault and was told that it with neither. Battery was the problem, replaced and resolved. I can't help but feel a little bit skeptical, either....

1. The person who initially looked into it missed something huge
2. Or, the problem has not been found and that it has just gone away... for now.

Hopefully it won't break down in the middle of nowhere.

Anyway, picking it up tomorrow, no more bus commute!

I was actually meant to be at Eastern Creek this weekend but cancelled because of the bike issues.

Works out well cause then I'll spend fathers day with the kids. :D
