I'm trying to find swing arm/axle sliders that will allow me to still use my DP rear stand without putting them on/taking them off each time or with some small mod to the stand perhaps. On the Sato website they have a version of these that will allow you to use an 848 stand. Does any one know if you can or has converted the 848 stand to the 1199 or vice versa?

Or are there any rear axle sliders that you have found that will allow the DP rear stand?

1199 has a 40mm rear axle, 848 has a 25mm rear axle so no you cant use an 848 rear paddock stand, but a late 1098 or 1198 will fit fine. If you already have a stand you could always get a new pin to fit...?

Once you fit the sliders it decreases the diameter to 25mm I guess. It says the 848 stand will work. That's what I'm trying to find out, whether I can just take the black adapter off the 1199 stand or do I need a new pin or new adapter.

Yes it works when you take the plastic collar off.

im glad i have my rear pit bull stand that i used for my r1 that accepts spools. I can use that one for when i do normal maintenance on the bike without worrying about having to take off the axle sliders all the time. then i can use my single sided pit bull for when i have tire changes and dont have the wear and tear on the slider threads from taking them off and putting them back on all the time, works quite well for me.

I'm not understanding this. I have the Rizoma rear slider and a DP Stand. The slider requires a 30mm post. When I remove the plastic collar mof the stock DP post, it is much smaller than that on the end, half way up the post (towards where it attaches to the stand) it gets a little bigger. Pittbull does have optional posts, one of them being 30mm, but not compatible ith the DP stand.

I'm talking about Type 2 Sato axle sliders, there's a sleeve insert on the left side that states it will allow the 848 DP sssa stand to work. I just wasn't sure whther the 1199 stand was converted from the 848 stand, but it seems that it is.

Im using an old 1098 stand with a full metal pin so can't remove any plastic like you guys mention. Is it possible to source an 848 pin and swap them over?
