We can only dream.... However with Ducati in bed with Audi, is a Ducati car that far out of the realm? Honda has cars, Suzuki has cars.... Maybe!

You couldn't drive it for long periods of time due to the uncomfortable heat levels in the cabin and the dash would be unreadable at times and you'd have to get it replaced, which would reset the mileage. You also couldn't change the oil yourself because it would have a poorly designed cover that was impossible to get to and even harder to remove. On second thought, I'll stick with Honda.

You would have to crawl under the car to check the oil, it would go through tires every 2K miles

The best you could expect to see, is the engine knowledge transfer to Audi.
Given Ford's 1litre, 3 cylinder EcoBoost just won engine of the year, you can certainly expect little engines to make bigger bangs in the future. Something the Euro's will want to lead.
