We have been pulling our hair out for two months now .
My 2015 Pani S that was rebuilt into an R model for the ASBK race season 2015/16 has frozen.
My tuner was attempting to re tune the bike as it was running rich and had appeared to go into some sort of limp mode .
It seemed under powered and the TC was not working.
The ECU is an FIM 2013 homologated in March for 1199R .running a SBK superstock loom.
The tuner here is one of the best in Australia and has run into a brick wall , we has not been able to break into the ECU and it has locked down.
Maybe to protect its proprietary Ducati Racing software or its just decided to be an absolute C@NT , he has reached out to everyone in his little black book
of electronic boffin gurus , the race team here who built it and getting info from Ducati race devision on and old platform has been fruitless.
He feels responsible for what has happened by diving into the matrix without knowing what was really inside the ECU to re tune .
His plan now if he cannot find the protocol to get through the firewall is to source an OEM ECU loom key barrel immobiliser and basically return it to stock .
So I will be out of a bike for most likely another few months missing out on my three days booked at Phillip Island next month and all the days I work at the track as a marshal .I am actively looking for a replacement track mule NOT a Ducati head saying Japa but heart and ears say 2015 RSV4 .Yes I know can of worms .
If anyone knows someone or has contacts with Ducati Corsa please PM me .

Bummer man yeah thats gonna be a tough one to get fixed. Not a whole left of resources out there for the SSTK stuff for the 99's. I would check with Gunmoto he might be of some help also maybe reach out to Ben at Codex he has some connections to the guys in the UK and Corsa.

Good news the Red headed Panti 1199R ECU is unbricked and re tuned pick her up this week
making some nice numbers

Im guestimating thats in the park of around 216hp at the crank
While waiting for the 1199r renaissance not knowing how much longer this was going to take i went shopping.
Murphys law on the way to pick up the Ape got a message the red head was awake.
Now for the on track comparison , I picked up a very low Km 2018 Aprilia RSV4 RR APRC so all the electric fruit apparently 201 hp at the crank.
And reported upgraded valve springs , had the clearances checked today
Rides very very well on the road sublime handling sounds like screaming angels having an orgy .
I want to ride them back to back , always wanted one now I have one , this will be hard .
Which supermodel do you kick out of bed ?

Dezi, I have acquired a SSTK loom/dash/bbs/ecu and will be installing into the R soon. Apparently the ECU is mapped for Termi 300 (SBK), race inlet+filter, velocity stacks, and upped rev limit. Noting I only have the Termi Long Manifold (150mm) I'm curious as to mapping software options, as I'd rather not end up with a frozen ECU as well. Justin at ProTwin here in Perth is a Tuneboy specialist but he also reckons Woolich could be the way to go.

For info, Motocorsa in Como are the guys who originally had my setup
