I think the can ends are steel. I'm gonna try some steel polish on it once I verify the material with a magnet.
 
Oh well, its all aluminum but I have no trouble cleaning it with Klasse all in one polish

Even though the Termi slip-ons are a rip off, the bike runs much better with them and the included up map. And I think they look better than stock too, just not $1800 better.
