I've responded elsewhere on this, but I've never been able to get mine to work. The first time I used it it paired, but didn't seem to really do much of anything. Since then I haven't been able to get it to work right and the dealerships are no help as they consider it an IT problem and don't want to get into that.
Honestly, from what I have read it seems the unit isn't fully compatible with the SF. It also doesn't help that the associated app is rubbish.

DMS module for SFV4 is same with same UX functions as for any other newV2/V4, except MTSV4.
MTSV4 has different dash with VAG style Smartphone Connect
I expect DMH to upgrade PV2/V4 to this dash with much more advanced integrated iOS/Android multimedia functions as well in the near future to keep up with YAM and BMW…
