Ducati Performance Battery Maintainer

Second vote for the C-Tek charger. I've had a couple for a few years and both are still working well. Also, they supply the chargers for Porsche which are rebranded as Porsche chargers at 3x the price.

I have no issues with the OEM one and no issues paying a little extra for OEM (would have been more convenient to have a socket somewhere externally on the bike though). Each to their own...however, I just want to correct something stated a few times above regarding the connection. It does connect to the can bus plug but once you connect it this is not the point where to connect and disconnect before going for a ride. There is an additional heavy duty two pin plug further up the cable which is the primary means to connect and disconnect - you leave the short can bus part of the cable connected to the bike.

I use the BMW advanced charging system and it works great. The install and plug in is perfect, and even has a 10' extension. I have had it since 2005 no problems. I paid $60 for it then. It might just be a re branded battery tender, but has work fine for me,

Count me very impressed with the Optimate 6 charger/maintainer - makes the Battery Tender look like a toy. Used it to recover the battery on my Ultra jet ski, Battery Tender Junior was flashing red and green but I don't think it was doing anything (I might have gotten two years at the most out of the Battery Tender)
