Over the years I had the Puig and ZeroGravity screens and while they did the job, they just didn't look high quality to me. I found this DP Screen on eBay for half price ($155 to $75) and decided to give it a shot. I have to say that it looks great on the bike and the quality matches the rest of the bike. I was worried when I found out that it's tinted, but the tint is super light and it does not effect the view in a full tuck. Since I have this new screen, it's also easier to clean the bottom of the screen. The stock one was too tight for a towel and I hated the water spots on it.
Most of you probably hate your pegs since they are super slippery. I wanted an inexpensive solution and decided to upgrade to Rizoma pegs. They have great grip and they look very good. I will post some pics for these. Under $100 mod, I love it.
I wanted to try StompGrip for the track day. My local dealer was out of StompGrip and they recommended the TechGrip. They looked good on the bike, but I'm extremely disappointed with their performance. My full suit was rubbing on the bottom piece and it made the rubber deteriorate. I followed the instructions for the install, made sure the tank is hot during the installation. The mid part still came out. I don't know how others like this product but I already talked to my dealer and they have a StompGrip in order for me.

How can you say this screen is anything but garbage??? You cannot fold you mirrors with it..without scratching it...Its paper thin and lasts 5 minutes in the real world....

Wait, is the DP windshield crap or Puig?? Do the mirrors hit the screen, I was thinking about getting the DP one too.

Sucks about the tank grips. I'm not a fan of the look but the black is better than the clear.

The Ducati Corse screen..that's stock on the R..... Garbage... The ZG Corsa is much much better....

Maybe your Starbucks coffee mug holder was mounted to it improperly? :D Yeah, I've been much further wise guy... Did a 2,000 mi trip last year and just did 500 miles a couple weekends ago. Not to mention 6 track days on top of that. No problems with it after 7k mi but I do agree it's pretty thin and the mirror folding is dumb but I got rid of the antlers anyway. At the time I got mine there were no other options.

Just giving you .... dude.... Mine cracked really fast... for the money..its junk... ZG ftw...

I know... I was just joking around in return... If I was to purchase another one I would look at all available options. I can say I'd look for one that doesn't put a burn mark in your TFT screen! Like an ant under a magnifying glass...

If you're actually talking about TechSpec it works fine if you apply it properly. Stompgrip tears up your leathers. Wouldn't recommend.

Is this the same screen that's on the SL? (the "Race" screen?) If so, it seems fine to me (though does scratch easily)

I don't know....but I suspect it is.... I had 2...should've learned the first time..anyway...both cracked really easily ..really thin and flimsy...

I have the ZG Corsa and its been great. You can fold the mirrors just fine, and if the logo seems a tad tacky you can easily remove it.

Seems much more durable than the stock one. Pretty resistant to scratches.

Same here, 13k km on the ZG Corsa, not a scratch!

The pictures look like OP was using TechSpec C3 which is one of their less aggressive versions. I went with the snake skin and have had no problems with it.

OP might want to look into adjustable rearsets if his knees are locked onto the fairing plastic instead of the tank though...

Also run the DP windscreen albeit with DP plastic and blockoffs so folding mirrors isn't a concern. Doesn't seem any thinner or crack-prone than the OEM screen.

I have been running the DP Tinted Windscreen that came with my "R" since new (over 4700 miles). It looks as good today as it did when I first installed it, I really like it.

I tried the Tech Grips in Snake Skin on mine when new. The tank grips didn't last at all and kept lifting. The knee grips lasted a while till riding in temps over 110 degree and they started moving around. I run with no grips at all and find this best now.

I have had a dp screen on my bike for 1500 miles no problems and my buddy has had his on his 1199r for 3000 miles no problems just don't fold in mirrors

Really? They tear up your leathers? I'm trying to figure out what to use but I'm looking for function and looks that go better with the Tri scheme than black. That's why I was considering the clear stomp grips but now I'm not sure....
