Cycler, you posted the same picture twice.. this is the SF AKRO system. View attachment 30940View attachment 30940
Yep you right. I did a screen shot. Then emailed myself both exhausts. Then circled the brackets in my phone. Emailed it again to myself. Downloaded the pics. When I was attaching them to this post I wasnt wearing my glasses and clicked on the same exhaust twice only one was circled.

Just curious how many 2020 Street fighter owners and future owner are actually debating on getting the Akra full titanium system? Correct me if Im wrong. I was told when either installed by the dealer or you install it the dealer has to have the bike and download something into the map. Personally I think the price is steep at $5406. And even if the dealer gave you a 10% discount it would be $4865.40 + tax. So if youre in PA you would pay $291.92 in taxes so the total would be $5157.32. And in NY the tax would be $425.72 making the total $5291.12

I have a buddy from out of state (forum member too and some most would know who he is if I wrote his name but I dont think he wants people to know his business) who is thinking of buying either the 2020 Panigale V4 or Panigale V4S. Since I bought 3 bikes from this one dealer by me, sent him customers ( 1 ducati and 2 BMWs) as well as just sent him 4 guys last month who all bought 2020 BMW S1000RR's at the same time and all 4 got good discounts. I told them to go straight to the owner , tell him I sent them and also sent him a text letting them know they were coming. My buddy who wants the 2020 Panigale V4 or V4S, was given $1700 off off MSRP on either the 2020 Panigale V4 or 2020 Panigale V4S and $4750 for the full titanium Akra exhaust as long as my dealer did the install.

For the guys with who bought the 2020 Street Fighter or are going to buy one. Yet are steering away from full Akra titanium system because of cost. What kind of pricing would convince you to buy that exhaust for your street fighter? Then bring it to your dealer, have him install it and if need be do the download that I was told about. I for one would be willing to pay anywhere between $4600-4700 out the door on it. Even that is a bit more than I would like to spend but its better than 10% off plus tax or if someone got lucky and the dealer gave them 15% off of MSRP. I would like to know what kind of download is needed if the Akra is installed. Correct me if I am wrong but if a full titanium Vandemon or any other full system is installed I dont think a download is done.

Arrow exhaust also sounds and looks nice:

I used to represent Arrow exhaust in year 2000 to 2005 back in my country of origin, mainly sell it to Aprilia's owner and some Yamaha/Suzuki track bike. At that time, for Ducati application the Termignoni still sounds better,
but on this video it sounds very nice and the finish is very nice too.

I have the full Akrpovic system with the up map on mine. But the guys pulled the baffling out of them. And I have to say it’s wicked loud. I ride with ear buds but it’s still too loud. I need to find a set of baffles and put them back in place. My Speciale is no where near as bad with them in place.

I was waiting for “it’s not loud enough”

.... man it’s too much! If she was a track bike only then fine. But I wanted this girl to ride every day and for that no way. And that’s with serious ear buds in place.

definitely get some ear plugs. I like the custom ones u make at home that they sell on amazon. Glad to know she’s a screamer.
Haha abt a track bike but apt of these tracks have noise restrictions now!

Got a link? I was looking into some that are not the basic foam ones I got at the dealer. They do the work but are more of a disposable nature. And I can still hear the slip on just fine, which is a plus. The pipe has finally settled seems like, it is glorious now up and down, pops and growls... only 1000mi in. Happy camper here no doubt.

gotta protect yourself from all that wind noise. The other ones hurt my ears. These ones work well, might wanna order a couple kits cause if u don’t pack them into ur ear during the molding Process they might not work right

Intersting. Thanks for the link.
I have had very good luck with any earbuds I use. Have the Bose earbuds for the outdoor fitness activities, no pain, stay in, etc.
I do notice some picked up wind at higher speeds with the foam ones I have. They could use some adjustments on the way home from the canyons. But I am sure there is a far better product out there.

I think the sound is much louder because its in the garage. All my exhausts on my bikes sound louder inside the garage than outside. I could be wrong about this Arrow. I used to have an Arrow on my S1000R and replaced it with a Akra full system with a Akra GP and its LOOOOOOUUUUUUDDDDDDDD in my garage. Outside its still loud. I think a bit too loud but still sounds nice.

I had custom ear buds made for me years ago. I don’t ride without them. They fill your ear with a type of silicone and then form the ear buds to be just like the mold . They sound great but with the baffles out it’s still too loud.

i ride with the Cardo scala bold. and bought the audio kit for 8 of my other helmets and just move the unit around

Well I just ordered the Arrow slip on exhaust. Pita it’s going to get here before the bike Lol.

Still, I wait for the Termignoni´s, according to them they are close with a product, this a copy of when I was in contact with them :

and... they confirm that the D184-system från Termignoni (see DUCATI_PANIGALE_V4_COMPLETE_SYSTEM_D18409400ITA - Termignoni) fits, however there is no mapping available yet :

We inform you that the assembly of our D184 system is compatible with your bike, but we inform you that we currently do not yet have a mapping available so the compatibility is not completely complete.

The benefit with Termignoni (at least from my point of view) is that you get the upmap + mapping + airfilter in the same package, that´s how they did it for the Panigale,.
It would be great to have the custom mapping and be able to provide the bike with new software in the future.

Hello. Is there a difference in slip-on for Panigale and SF? I like the model from Panigale, but I don’t know whether it will get up or not ...
