Does anyone have any experience in mounting the Armour bodies fairings? Or for the matter of fact any other brand track / race fairings?

What were some of the gotchyas that you wish you knew before you started?

Any tips / insights will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Good luck finding something for the V2 other than CRC (which people say do not fit well - especially for the V2). Oh, there is always the Ducati brand "race" fairings, but those are just unpainted street fairings that won't crash well.

The only company that makes fairings for the v2 is CRC and one other European company I can’t remember the name of at the moment.

Just a quick update on this thread

Woodcraft / Armor Bodies fairing do not fit the V2 at all, unless you are willing to completely butcher everything

This is a classic problem with a lot of vendors nowadays where they have not taken the time to verify fitment with V2 and simply claim compatibility on the fact that if it fits 959 or 1299 it will V2 - they could not be more wrong - so far I have had this experience with moto holders fairing stay / air duct, armor bodies fairings and multiple vendors on eBay selling V2 decal kits

I ended up going with Cruciata fairings and right now it’s the closest thing you can get - it was not free from faults but only very minor ones that I expect anyone to overcome that has ever installed race fairings

Idk where you are ordering parts from. I didn’t have issues with my fairing stays or any other v2 parts I’ve ordered.

Armorbodies fairings via STG
DBHolders from Warhorse HSBK

I made a mistake in my earlier post - fairing stay brand air duct that I was referring to was DBHolders and not motoholders

we told you CRC and cruciata were the only options at the time.

Got my order placed with HiFibre in the UK. They make the plastics for the Tri-Options V2 racers. We'll see how they fit in about a month or so.

Which DBHolders fairing stay and air duct fits the V2? Is it the version for the V4? Are there any other options out there?

DBHolders for V4
