I think that sport bikes in general are not the hot item they once were. Millennials are too busy being practical:)

Seeing how most millennials cant drive very well, its better they stay off bikes. Here in DC, I can be trying to get out of the city to ride the 1299 or drive my Shelby to the twisty roads.....the left lane is blocked by a person going really slow in a Prius, Subaru, or some cross-over thing.....and its a millennial driving it, not an old person. Its like they are afraid to drive or something or very unsure about all of it. I don't expect them to speed, but at least do the limit and stay right if they are sooooo afraid.

Yes it is so sad how many of the youngsters can't really operate vehicles properly. Even bicycles. They wobble around a lot.....

Quick get a ... in at rossi before no cares about this thread

If Ducati could have got a few wins from rossi instead of paying his crew and him an absurd amount of money Mayne the panigale wouldn't have gone up in price over the 1098 series
How's that tool box

That would be an understatement. The first kick in the groin was the crash of 2008. An awful lot of buyers are young and can no longer get financed.

If I can get one of them to come over to my house and hook up my electronics so I can get free TV I will teach them to drive. But I'm not sure how to contact them. Is texting still in vogue, or do I have to Skype, Twitter, and/or Snapchat them? I got out my two tin cans connected by a string last night and nobody answered.

You have to create a short, theatrical "B type" movie on Instagram or Youtube or both, get enough followers so that they believe that you're the latest "it" thing and they will come!

Just to be clear, they are not marking them down because the 19s are coming. They are marking them down because they are not getting enough interest at list price. Marketing 101. I'm still seeing new 1299s on Cycle Trader at list price.

Some dealers don't quite understand the actual cost of capital. And most dealers don't actually own their inventory. HOWEVER, there is an ASS for every seat.

Two clarifications. Most dealers have floorplanning for their inventory. They own it and pay interest on it, but they typically have x amount to time to actually pay for the vehicle. Often the floor planning is through the manufacturer with terms to encourage dealers to carry adequate inventory. I'm sure there are variations, but that is typical last I knew.

There is an ass for every seat, but it is price related. That's how the laws of supply and demand works.
